The unrooted cuttings are put in the right mixture of potting soil to start rooting. The cuttings root in paper plugs, which are biodegradable. When sufficient roots are formed, the cuttings are repotted in larger pots. Eventually they will be sold, growing in these pots.

After being repotted in larger pots, they gradually grow into mature plants. To prevent weeds from growing in the pots, wood-chips are pot on top of the soil.

In this greenhouse 'Magic Marlot' is grown under perfect circumstances. Temperature and care are constantly monitored and accurately maintained. After about one and a half year they are ready for sale.

When 'Magic Marlot' is pruned on the right moment, better branching (see photo) is improved. 'Magic Marlot' develops into a well-branched and compact plant.
